Ward Missionary Plan 2025

Implement Love, Share, Invite
Encourage the entire Ward family to participate in the Ward Monthly Missionary Goals and take on the challenge.
Bringing 12 people to baptism and focused on going to the temple
Activate 3 families

How we plan to accomplish our goals:

Ward Missionaries

Continue to set up Fellowshipping Families in “Get to Know your Neighbor” through Love, Share & Invite.
Help ward members learn and execute: Love, Share, Invite.
Assist quorums and classes on how to implement the Ward Monthly Missionary Challenge.
Visit all families that are new and recently moved into our ward boundaries.
Visit all unidentified households not assigned to a fellowshipping family.
Team up with and support Full Time Missionaries when needed in teaching families.
Assist Elders Quorum and Relief Society in helping to strengthen New and Returning Members progress along the covenant path.
Coordinate efforts of ward auxiliaries in supporting the FT Missionaries in monthly Ward Council.

Recommendations of how others can help accomplish our Ward Missionary Goals.

Elders Quorum

Introduce the Monthly Missionary Goal on the 1st Sunday of each month and invite all to take that month’s missionary challenge.
Implement a missionary moment, what someone did to implement the missionary challenge, on the last Sunday of each month in Elders Quorum.
EQ will monitor the new convert list and help new members progress along the covenant path (wherever possible).
Help with planning and executing four Activities a year, to which non-member friends will be invited.
Team up with Full Time Missionaries when needed in teaching families.
Invite each new convert to attend the temple to perform baptisms for ancestors within two months of their baptism.
Encourage new converts to visit the family history center to prepare their own names for going to the temple.

Relief Society

Introduce the Monthly Missionary Goal on the 1st Sunday of each month and invite all to take that month’s missionary challenge.
Implement a missionary moment, what someone did to implement the missionary challenge, on the last Sunday of each month in Relief Society.
Remind all sisters to invite non-members and less active members to all activities.
Help with planning and executing four Activities a year, to which non-member friends will be invited.

Young Men

Introduce the Monthly Missionary Goal on the 1st Sunday of each month and invite all to take that month’s missionary challenge.
Implement a missionary moment, what someone did to implement the missionary challenge, on the last Sunday of each month in priesthood quorum.
The YM will strive to have one non-member attend weekly activities each month.
Priests will go on team-ups with the missionaries (when Elders are serving in the Ward) and will report their experiences back to the quorum on the following quorum meeting.

Young Women

Introduce the Monthly Missionary Goal on the 1st Sunday of each month and invite all to take that month’s missionary challenge.
Implement a missionary moment, what someone did to implement the missionary challenge, on the last Sunday of each month in the young women classes.
The YW will strive to have one non-member attend weekly activities each month.
Have a family history moment once a month in the young women classes. This would be an assignment for a young woman to research a family history story or experience and share it with the group.

Primary

Introduce the Monthly Missionary Goal on the 1st Sunday of each month and invite all to take that month’s missionary challenge.
Implement a missionary moment, what someone did to implement the missionary challenge, on the last Sunday of each month in primary.
Help prepare children for baptism. Help build relationships with the missionaries.
Encourage families to invite non member friends and family to the baptism.

Sunday School

Introduce the Monthly Missionary Goal on the 1st Sunday of each month and invite all to take that month’s missionary challenge.
Implement a missionary moment, what someone did to implement the missionary challenge, on the last Sunday of each month in your Sunday School classes.
Introduce and make welcome all new members and non members at the beginning of each class.

Bishopric

A member of the Bishopric will invite all those giving a talk in sacrament to invite non-members to church to hear their talk.
Will encourage all families to join in with the Love, Share, Invite focus.
Will encourage all families to participate in the ward's monthly missionary goals and take the monthly challenges. .

Ward Council

The Ward Council will lead by example – taking on and completing the Monthly Missionary Challenge.
The Ward Council will invite and encourage members of their respective quorums / auxiliaries to participate in our Ward Monthly Missionary Challenge.
Members of the Ward council will be encouraged to bear their testimony regarding a missionary experience during fast and testimony meetings.
Will make sure that all of the Ward activities are focused on inviting our non-member and less active friends.
